CUSTOMIZE THE NCC PROGRAM TO YOUR NEEDS! 

Two years after the very successful NCC 2010 'The Next Decade', the fourth Dutch Contact Lens Congress is being organised on 11 and 12 March 2012. The congress is again going to be held in the NH Conference Center Koningshof in Veldhoven. (Please note that the single rooms are fully booked. The chosen theme of the NCC 2012 is 'Getting in Control'. This is, of course, a reference to one of the main themes of this congress, namely Myopia Control. This theme also covers all aspects of fitting modern contact lenses. There will, for example, be a great deal of attention for toric contact lenses, multifocal contact lenses, the importance of proper contact lens care products and scleral lenses. In addition to interesting lectures there will also be workshops, Rapid Fire Sessions and poster presentations. Click here for the most recent program. 

It promises to be an interesting congress which contact lens specialists, optometrists, contact lens suppliers and students should and may not miss. The Dutch Contact Lens Congress has been organised every 2 years since 2006, with each edition having a relevant main contact lens-related theme. In 2010 there were no fewer than 1,600 visitors. The congress features lectures, rapid fire sessions, workshops, poster presentations and panel discussions as well as a major exhibition featuring all known suppliers of contact lenses, contact lens solutions and other contact lens related products. The Dutch Contact Lens Congress is partly funded by the Dutch Contact Lens Association [Nederlandse Associatie van Contactlensleveranciers (NAC)] in cooperation with the General Dutch Association of Contact Lens Specialists [Algemene Nederlandse Vereniging voor Contactlensspecialisten (ANVC)].
